I have recently discovered Joseph Campbell and it is like these doors have swung wide open and all this light is pouring in… suddenly my life and memories start to make sublime sense.
Always I am wondering, how can I live more from my soul? How can I help others live from their souls?
We are currently living in a society that has lost it’s mythology. There is no tribe to teach us the rituals that help us experience who we are, why we are, and how to relate to the world around. The rituals are gone, the stories that heal our souls are drowned out.
As artists, we must remember- remember the stories, remember the rituals, remember the myths, and bring them back to conciousness.
Tomorrow’s culture is not one of the individual, or of a city, or nation, or continent- but of a true global village. One planet.
